Fireplaces - Burning

Purest (renewable) energy for your fireplace

People have always used wood as fuel for their fireplace. Nowadays, at the time of the new fireplace furnaces and inserts,  fossil, non-renewable fuels (oil, gas and coal ) are considered as "better quality" fuels, and as such have pushed wood out of use. Through their exploitation, we have become aware of the fact that they create harmful combustion gases that badly affect the environment by causing greenhouse effect.
Forests purify the air, accumulate drinking water and have a positive impact on our climate. Trees filter carbon dioxide from the air and convert it into oxygen. Oxygen is needed for life and is the foundation for breathing, restoration and growth of trees. Wood accumulates the energy of the forest and it is passed on back to nature as a heating source by combustion. There's no differenece between wood decomposition in nature or having it burned in a fireplace. In both cases the same amount of carbon dioxide (CO2) is released into the atmosphere.
Wood is the only fuel the waste product of which is re-used without harming environment. Wood is renewable, useful and not harmful to nature. Thanks to ecological consciousness, there is planned deforestation and thus a space opens up for the growth of  new trees. Wood damaged by weather conditions is also used as fuel.
Our country is rich in forests and we have sufficient quantities of wood as fuel. During combustion there is just as carbon dioxide emission as a tree recieved during life, thus preventing the greenhouse effect.
Wood does not contain sulfur, and therefore combustion of wood is not the cause of acid rain. The only waste products of wood are fire, smoke and ash. Ash is a matter used as a compost for fertilizing soil, so natural balance is not harmed and even we have some benefits from it.
You can heat a space either by air flow or by using heat from heat-emitting metal parts of a furnace.
